Most foam roof leaks are a pinhole or a parapet split, fixed in a morning. Same-week in season.
Foam roof repair in Phoenix →A new top coat every 5–7 years is why a foam roof lasts 25+ years. Skip it and UV eats the foam.
Recoating →Seamless, insulating, white. The roof Phoenix flat-roof homes have used since the 1970s.
New spray foam roof →No Valley foam roofer shows these side by side. Here they are, with the source for each.

Valley foam roofers publish recoat intervals from 5 years (Durafoam) to 5–7 (Travek) to 8–12 (Arizona Roof Co). We show the two shorter schedules because Phoenix UV is the worst case.
Don't know the install year? The Maricopa County Assessor shows the home's build year; a roofing permit on file with your city gives the re-roof year.
Rub a dark cloth or your palm firmly across the coating in direct sun.
The NWS monsoon season. Sky Harbor has seen 9.56 in (1984) and 0.15 in (2023) in a season — the roof has to be ready for either.
Recoat and inspection season. Coatings cure fast and the schedule is open. Book before the first storm, not after.

This is an independent site. Calls go to our partner contractor, an Arizona ROC-licensed roofing contractor (class CR-42 covers spray foam and elastomeric/silicone coatings). We publish their licence number here and show you how to check it yourself. If they can't take your job, we'll say so.

25+ years when the top coat is renewed on schedule. The foam itself is not the weak point — the coating is, and it is the cheap part. See lifespan in Arizona.
Almost always repaired. Pinholes, blisters, bird damage and parapet splits are localized; a roof only needs replacement when the foam is saturated across large areas, which a core sample shows in minutes.
Yes — calls are answered by an Arizona ROC-licensed roofer. Foam and coatings require a CR-42 (or C-42 commercial) licence; Arizona's handyman exemption stops at $1,000 and never covers permit work.
